If you cancel your account, we retain your data for up to 2 years to allow account reestablishment, after which it is permanently deleted unless you request earlier removal (see Section 9). We maintain append-only audit logs for critical system actions; these logs are retained for 12 months and cannot be modified by any user or administrator.

11. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. ForceVue runs on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure (Vercel and Supabase). No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a suspected data breach affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and applicable authorities within 72 hours of discovery.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
