Activity & notifications
The per-workspace audit trail, in-app notifications, and @mentions.
ForceVue keeps a record of what happens in your workspaces and tells you when something needs your attention.
Activity
Every workspace has an activity log: a running history of what was created, changed, generated, and removed, and who did it. Each initiative also has its own Activity tab scoped to that initiative.
Use activity to see what your team has been doing, to retrace how a document came together, or to confirm a change landed.
Notifications
Notifications surface in-app so you do not have to go hunting. You get a notification when something involves you directly, for example when a teammate mentions you or when there is an update you should know about. Open your notifications from the dashboard to catch up and clear them.
Email notification preferences
Some notifications also arrive by email. You choose which ones in Workspace Settings → Email Notifications. There are two switches:
- Mentions: an email when a teammate mentions you in a document, with a link straight to it.
- Usage alerts: a heads-up when you are close to your monthly AI generation limit, or reach it.
Changes save the moment you flip a switch and apply to you across every workspace you belong to. In-app notifications are not affected; they always show up.
Emails about your account always send and have no switch: team invitations, password resets, sign-in links, billing receipts, and account deletion confirmations. You cannot turn these off because they affect access to your account.
@mentions
Type @ in a document and pick a teammate to mention them. They get an in-app notification, and an email too unless they have turned mention emails off. Mentions only reach people who are members of the workspace, so a mention never pulls in someone outside it.
Saving the document again does not notify anyone twice. If you remove a mention and add it back later, that counts as new and notifies again.
