Search
Press Cmd+K to search across initiatives, documents, context, goals, and uploads, and scope results to a single initiative.
Search finds anything in your current workspace fast, without opening a chat thread.
Open search
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux) anywhere in the dashboard. The search palette opens. Start typing and results update as you go. Use the arrow keys to move and Enter to open a result.
What it searches
Search covers everything in your workspace:
- Initiatives
- Documents
- Goals (initiative-level and workspace-level)
- Context items (initiative-level and workspace-level)
- Uploaded files and the text inside them
- The text inside generated documents
It combines keyword matching with meaning-based matching, so you find things by what they say, not only by exact words. Results from different content types are grouped so you can tell a document apart from a context item at a glance.
Scoping to an initiative
When you are working inside an initiative, search can narrow to just that initiative so you are not wading through the whole workspace. Open search from the initiative and results stay within it.
Search vs chat
Use search when you know roughly what you are looking for and want to jump to it. Use chat when you want an answer synthesized across several sources with citations.
Where to go next
- Workspace chat for synthesized, cited answers.
- Uploading documents so your files show up in search.
